PROCEEDINGS

The 10th Active Control of MHD Stability Workshop was held Oct.31-Nov.2 at The Pyle Center on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The theme emphasized progress in the control of kink and tearing stability, but as in past years, other topics related to MHD control were covered. Results from experiments, theory and modeling on tokamak and other configurations were presented. The titles on the Program page are linked to pdf copies of the talks presented.

This workshop was organized jointly by Columbia University, General Atomics, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, and the University of Wisconsin. The program committee included Japanese and European Union representatives.

The 11th Active Control of MHD Stability Workshop will be held Nov.6 - Nov.8, 2006 at Columbia University.
