Opportunities:

At any given time there are about a dozen undergraduate students working on an hourly basis in support of research projects and experiments in the plasma physics group. Many of these students are physics and engineering majors, but this is not a requirement for employment. A variety of skills and talents are needed in our research. Undergraduates working with us gain skills in areas such as Solidworks CAD entry, machine tool operation, electronics, and computer programming. Undergraduate research is possible depending on individual skills and project availability. There are even opportunities for office and administration support.
